Modi is like Hitler, We should Unite to Teach him A Lesson – Minister Rai

Mangaluru: The Gurupur, Suratkal, Managluru City, South and Ullal Block Congress committees jointly staged a protest against the Modi government for hiking fuel prices and bringing new RTO rule in front of the RTO here on February 3.

Addressing the protesters, district minister in-charge Ramanath Rai said, “The BJP government came to power by fooling the people. They fooled the people saying that if they come to power, in 100 days they will bring back all the black money deposited in the Swiss bank and credit Rs 15 lakh to the account of every citizen in the country. Modi assured to bring Ache Din to the people of the country. But the BJP government is unable to bring even a single Rupee from the Swiss bank. When asked about it Amit Shah says that it was an election gimmick. Saying lies is the birthright of BJP.”

Rai further said, “People of the country thought that by voting for the BJP there will be good days but the people are suffering because of the price hike for basic commodities which people cannot afford. Even when the oil price in the international market was Rs $140 the UPA government did not hike the price of petrol or diesel. Now the oil price in the international market is only $40 but the price of petrol and diesel is being hiked thrice every month. Even without thinking of the problems, Amit Shah and Modi decided to demonetize currency notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1000. The common man even though is suffering a lot have not raised their voice, because if people raise their voice against the demonetization, the BJP calls them traitors. Now the new RTO rule will put the common man in trouble. Modi is following in the footsteps of Hitler and this is the first step he has taken in that direction. The people of the country should unite and raise their voice against the injustice done by the BJP government led by Modi and teach Modi a lesson”.

Senior congress leader Ibrahim Kodijal speaking on the occasion said, “People of the country trusted the election promises of Modi and Amit Shah thinking that they will have Ache din as promised by BJP. Even during the elections, BJP leaders had assured of bringing back black money from the Swiss bank and credit Rs 15 lakh into the account of every citizen but they have failed to keep their assurances. Instead of crediting Rs 15 lakh to the account of every citizen, on November 8, without taking any of the political leaders into confidence and without thinking of the consequences Modi and Amit Shah went ahead and demonetized Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes. After the demonetization, more than 100 people have lost their lives by standing in the queue. Modi and Amit Shah are only in favour of Ambani and Adani.”

Kodijal Ibrahim further said, “The new traffic rule will put the poor people in trouble. According to the new rules, if anyone jumps the red signal or does not wear the seat belt will have to pay a fine of up to Rs 5000, for not wearing the helmet the fine is Rs 1000 and for causing an accident the license will be suspended for 5 years and so on. The new traffic rules should immediately be withdrawn”, he said.

Congress leaders shouted slogans against the BJP government and PM Narendra Modi.

Congress leaders Mamatha Gatti, Hilda Alva, Ashraf, U T Ibrahim, Harsharaj, Vishwas Das and others were also present.

The RSS and other allies of Hindutva, like Shiv Sena founder Bal Thackeray, have also declared their preference for dictatorship over democracy and openly expressed admiration for Hitler. Small wonder that Mein Kampf is a runaway best seller in this country. In his 1938 book, We or Our Nationhood Defined, Golwalkar approves the Nazi extermination of Jews: “To keep up purity of the nation and its culture, Germany shocked the world by her purging the country of the Semitic races, the Jews. National pride at its highest has been manifested here. Germany has also shown how well-nigh impossible it is… Read more »

‘Bruhat pratibhatane’ reads the banner behind these politicians surrounded by less than 20 people!! LOL

Also, when someone starts throwing around the words ‘Nazi’ and ‘Hitler’, it’s a good indication of his own ignorance. Do these people even know who Hitler was? What a joke. By the way, does Kodijal support uniform civil code? How about cleaning your own house first before attacking Modiji?
