Moideen Bava to file Nomination Papers on April 23, Seeks Blessings from Poojary
Mangaluru: “On April 23, at 11:00 am I will be filing my nomination papers at the Mangaluru City Corporation for the forthcoming assembly elections. I have sought the blessings of senior Congress leader Janardhan Poojary, Oscar Fernandes and Veerappa Moily. I have done a lot of development work in my constituency during my tenure. KPCC president Dr G Parameshwar has handed over the B form to me in Bengaluru. I will take the advice of all the senior leaders before filing the nomination papers,” said the Mangaluru North Constituency candidate Moideen Bava in a press meet held at Hotel Woodlands here on April 20.
Addressing the mediapersons Moideen Bava said, “Janardhan Poojary is the tallest leader, I have always taken his advise. Today I met him at his residence and he has blessed me wholeheartedly. In my tenure, I have brought the maximum funds for the development of Mangaluru North Constituency. I have also brought medical funds for the people of my constituency.”
“On April 23, a programme will be held at Lady hill, I will go along with my supporters from Lady in a procession and file my nomination papers at the Mangaluru City corporation at 11 am.”
Former Mayor Sashidhar Hegde, Mayor Bhasker K, KPCC Secretary and North In-charge Deviprasad Shetty, Surendra Kambali, Naveen D’Souza, Jayasheel Adyanthyaya, Deepak Poojary and Sohib were also present.
