Moodbidri: In a Bus and Car collision, a man was killed on the spot and three others in the car were injured near Belvai here on April 8.
The deceased has been identified as Veerappa. He was the owner of a cycle shop in Alangar.
According to the police, Veerappa along with his family attended a wedding in Sanoor. When Veerappa was returning home after the wedding, at Belvai, a bus plying towards Karkala from Moodbidri collided head on into the Omni car killing Veerappa on the spot.
Other occupants in the car who were injured were rushed to the hospital inMangaluru and Moodbidri. Veerappa is survived by wife, a son and a daughter.
A case has been registered in Moodbidri police station.
