Mother sells newborn baby at Byndoor
Kundapur: An incident of selling a newborn baby has been reported at Paduvari, Byndoor.
Nagamma had delivered a baby in the Government Hospital Kundapur. She had said that the baby had died during labor to her neighbours.
The neighbours who suspected Nagamma of foul play soon alerted the district health official. The Child Protection Committee visited Nagamma’s house and investigated the case. Nagamma then confessed of selling the baby to a family of Uttara Kannada.
