Coimbatore, April 26 (IANS) Kolkata’s S.K. Ajgar Ali and navigator Mohd. Musthafa from Erode won the Overall and Pro-Expert titles in the second round of the FMSCI Indian National TSD Rally Championship here on Sunday.
The winning pair tied with Hyderabad’s Sachin Singh and his navigator Prakash M (Erode) with a penalty of 56 seconds, but Ali and Musthafa were adjudged champions on the basis of scoring more number of zero penalties during the 180-km-long rally.
National champions K.P. Karthik Maruti and S. Sankar Anand from Erode completed the podium by finishing third, some 10 seconds behind the leaders.
Topping the Pro-Stock class were Dinky Varghese and Sakthivel with a penalty of two minutes, 40 seconds, well clear of Erode’s V. Sekar and G. Natarajan (04:24) and Sudhindra Hebbar and M Sagar (05:10).
