MP Nalin has Done huge Development for the District – Sanjeev Matandoor
Mangaluru: “The election date has been announced and our MP candidate Nalin Kumar Kateel has filed his nomination on March 25. This election will decide the future of the country. We are celebrating the festival of democracy and every vote will decide the future of the country. BJP is a common man’s party while the Congress is the party of mother and her children and the JD(S) is a party of the Grandpa and Grand children. Nalin Kumar Kateel has already won the LS polls twice and this time will be a hat-trick victory”, said MLA Sanjeev Matandoor in a press meet held at the BJP office, Kolialbail here on March 26.
Addressing the mediapersons Sanjeev Matandoor said, “In the last 5 years he has successfully worked for the development of the district. In the last Assembly elections, Nalin has worked for the victory of the 7 candidates in the district. Nalin Kumar has brought more than Rs 16000 crore for the development of the district. The BJP is the number one party in the district in all aspects. We have formed committees in 1861 booths and have been visiting every house and organizing the Kamala Jyothi programme. We are placing the ‘Modi Mane BJP Mane’ slogan sticker at every house. We are holding programmes in the 54 Maha Shakti Kendras under the leadership of the MLAs to bring awareness about the development work done”.
Sanjeev Matandoor further said, “On April 3, 4 and 5 our party workers will visit every house and meet the people. We will hold the Maha Sampark Abhiyan on April 7. The second Maha Sampark Abhiyan will be held on April 14. On April 15 and 16 there will be a road show and 55 public programmes will be held in the district. Our aim is to win with a margin of more than 2 lakh votes which we will take as a challenge. There are a number of beneficiaries of various schemes of the Central government. All the failures of the state government will be highlighted. The coalition government is in the ventilator while we have a stable government in the centre. Senior Congress leaders have stood aside and fielded a youth to contest the LS polls. Confusion in the Congress party will be a plus point for the BJP to win the elections. Congress has been spreading propaganda about Yeddyurappa and Randeep Surjewala has put false allegations on Yeddyurappa. The election commission should take action against Surjewala”.
Sanjeev Matandoor also said, “The district BJP will work hard for the victory of Nalin and strengthen Modi and Amit Shah. Both have set the winning target of 400 seats and come to power. Nalin Kumar will surely make a hat-trick”.
When questioned on whether the LS candidate has no capacity and is asking votes in Modi’s name, Sanjeev said, “Modi is our leader and he is the High command of the BJP. Modi is the prime minister and it is natural to ask votes for Modi. We will ask votes in the name of Nalin. Ten years ago when Nalin Kumar Kateel contested for the first time for the Lok Sabha, Modi was not the prime minister but Nalin won the elections, this time also Nalin will win the elections. In 2009 Nalin was a common party worker but in 2019 he has emerged as a leader. He will win the elections with his own capacity”.
When asked about the achievements of Nalin Kumar Kateel in the last 10 years as MP, Sanjeev Matandoor said, “He has done very good development work for the district. The Plastic Park has already been sanctioned, SEZ has also been sanctioned and there are many other development works he has done.”
When asked about the flyovers in Pumpwell and Thokkottu that have not been completed from 8 years, Sanjeev said, “The union minister Gadkari had sent officers to check the work. Now the work is going swiftly and soon the flyover work will be completed. Everyone knows the reason for the delay in constructing flyovers.”
When asked about the details of the work done from Rs 16000 crore which Nalin brought from the central government for the development of the district, Sanjeev Matandoor said, “The funds have been utilized for the national highway, bridges, state highway, smart city, jetty construction, Mudra scheme, Ujwala scheme and many other development projects.
