MP Shobha Karandlaje selected as UK parliamentary Official Election Observer
Udupi: Udupi Chikkamagaluru Lok Sabha MP Shobha Karandlaje has been appointed as an official parliamentary observer for the UK parliamentary elections scheduled to be held on June 8, 2017.
The United Kingdom general election of 2017 is scheduled to take place on 8 June 2017. Each of the 650 parliamentary constituencies will elect one Member of Parliament (MP) to the House of Commons, the lower house of Parliament.
Under UK Election Assignment Mission Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan selected the name of Shobha Karandlaje as an official election observer in the UK. MP Shobha Karandlaje will work as an observer in the UK from June 3 to June 10, 2017.
