MPL Fest, Trophy Launch at Panambur Beach on 27 Nov
Mangaluru: Addressing the media persons, MLA Moideen Bawa- Advisor of Mangaluru Premier League (MPL) said, ” Karnataka Regional Cricket Academy has organized a fest and MPL Trophy Launching programme at Panambur Beach on 27th of November in connection with the Mangaluru Premier League cricket Tournament to be held at B.R.Ambedkar Cricket Stadium, Panambur from December 17th 30th this year.”
“The fest is arranged with the aim to unite all the cricket lovers under the umbrella of Harmony. The fest will have many entertaining games like Family Cricket, Shoot at the Stump , Kite flying, Sand Art, Sand Mountain Competition, Run and rotate and many other minutes games. All the family members can take part in these games without any entry fee and go back with hands full of prizes. Also, there is a raffle draw which will give an opportunity to all to win an I-phone as a prize. During the fest MPL cricket trophy will be launched in the presence of VIP’s from the country and abroad, 12 MPL team owners, players etc.” added MLA Bawa.
Also speaking during the press meet, Gautham Shetty-main coordinator of MPL said, “In this connection, a Cycle rally under the slogan “Save fuel and cleanliness” has been arranged from Manipal to Panambur which is passing through Katapadi- Shankarpur-Nandikoor-Padubidri. Also a bike rally with the participation of all the players of 12 MPL teams,Cricket Lovers will start from Nehru Maidan at 3:30 p.m.”
Imtiyaz and Asif- both conveners of MPL were also present during the meet.
