MRPL Hosts Central Vigilance Commission Event
Mangalore: A Capacity Building and training program on vigilance administration was inaugurated at Mangalore on 9 August 2024 by Secretary, Central Vigilance Commission Shri P. Daniel along with Shri Mundkur Shyamprasad Kamath MD-MRPL and Shri Ganesh S. Bhat CVO, MRPL.
The two-day event hosted by MRPL is being held at Hotel Ocean Pearl Mangalore under the aegis of the Central Vigilance Commission. Shri Rajiv Verma, Director, CVC Shri V. Nandakumar, Director Refinery, Shri BHV Prasad ED Projects, and Shri B. Sudarshan ED Refinery of MRPL were among the dignitaries present during the inaugural session of the event.
During the inaugural event, Shri P. Daniel spoke about the birth and evolution of CVC and its approach to handling challenges. He gave a gist of activities being promoted by the commission and stressed the need to share knowledge, evolve, and leverage the improvements in technology to mitigate corruption. Shri Shyamprasad Kamath welcomed the gathering, and Shri Ganesh Bhat delivered the vote of thanks.
Chief Vigilance officers of many CPSE organisations across the country and Officers of various organisations who are involved with Vigilance activities were present on the occasion along with Group General Managers, senior officers, and the organising team of MRPL.
