Mumbai: Malad Shani Mahatma Puja Samiti organized the 41st Annual Sri Shani Puja on 14 February at Sri Shani Mahatma Temple, Kurar Village, Malad.
After the puja ceremony, a stage programme was held under the presidentship of Shrinivas P Sapalya, president of the samiti. The programme exhibited various dance and yakshagana by the children.
MP Nalin Kumar Kateel and Adv. Monappa Bhandary were present as special guests. President of Bunts Sangha Mumbai Karnire Vishwanath Shetty, Vijaya Bhandary, Ratnakar Shetty Mundkoor, Ramesh Shetty Airoli were also present as guests.
Well-known journalist Bokkapatna Dinesh Dinesh Kulal, senior members of the Samiti Shankar Shetty and Nayarayana Devadiga were felicitated by the guests along with Ex Mayor of Mumbai Sunil Prabhu.
Hon. Gen. Secretary M D Billawa welcomed the guests. Hon. Treasurer Harish Salian, Shridhar Shetty, Narayana Shetty, Babu N Chandan and others present on dais.
The Puja began with Gana Homa in the morning by Raghavendra Bhat, Panchamruta Abhisheka to God Shani, Mangalarati and later Prasad was distributed to all.Mumbai: 41st Annual Shani Puja held in Malad.
