Murder attempt on Family in Kabaka using Explosive
Puttur: Miscreants attempted to kill the members of a family by using Gelatin sticks at Kabaka Polya on October 15 late night.
The incident took place at Narayan Prasad’s house in Polya, Kabaka. Narayan’s wife Shalini was injured in the incident and has been shifted to a hospital in Mangaluru.
According to the police, on October 15 late night miscreants placed gelatin sticks around the house of Narayan and tried to blast the house. In the explosion, Shalini was severely injured in the leg.
The Bomb Defusing Squad reached the spot for further investigations.
Additional SP Sajith, DySP Srinivas and Puttur Circle Inspector Thimmappa Naik visited the spot and are investigating.
