Murder Attempt on Prof Narendra Nayak, Case filed

Mangaluru: A case has been filed in the Urwa Police station in connection with an attempt to murder of Prof Narendra Nayak, here on March 15.

Speaking to mangalorean.com Prof Narendra Nayak said, “On March 15, at around 6:15 am,  when I was on my way to Mangala stadium swimming pool by car, two persons on a bike were waiting at the end of the lane. When I reached near them, they tried to stop me saying that my car tyre was punctured. I suddenly realized that there was a danger for my life and moved on without stopping the car to Mangala stadium”.

Prof Narendra Nayak further said, “I have identified both the persons and have given their names to the police. Both are the aides of Supari Killer Shiva. I think they were watching my movement from many days and keeping track of my activities”.

In this connection, Urva police have registered a case and handed over the case to CCB for further investigation.
