Nandini wins Delhi’s Radio City Super Singer Season 8
New Delhi, Sep 18 (IANS) Nandini Sharma has been announced as the winner of Delhi region’s Radio City Super Singer Season 8 competition.
Music director duo Sajid-Wajid crowned Nandini as the winner of the radio channel’s competition on Saturday night, selecting her amongst 5 finalists, who competed for the title and a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh.
“Radio City Super Singer, has garnered stupendous response this year, and with the grand success of season 8, we have set a benchmark to follow. Radio City Super Singer is one such effort to gratify the singing talent in each city,” Kartik Kalla, EVP and National Head, Programming, Marketing, AudaCITY, Radio City, said in a statement.
“Our belief in the fact that music runs through the veins of IndiaAstands vindicated and we are glad , we could play our part in unearthing fresh talent,” Kalla added.
The finale was held at Pacific Mall here with the five competitors being Madhur Dheer, Nandini, Abdul Samad Khan, Nitin Shukla and Tripti Garg.
