Narasimhamoorthy takes charge as UUDA Chairman

Udupi: Senior Congress leader Narasimhamoorthy took charge as the chairman of the Udupi Urban Development Authority (UUDA) here on Monday, June 6.

Narasimhamoorthy took charge in the presence of Udupi MLA and Parliamentary Secretary to the Revenue Minister, Pramod Madhwaraj.

Speaking after taking charge, Narasimhamoorthy said that he would ensure that there was transparency in all transactions of the authority.

Pramod Madhwaraj said that the Urban Development Authority should have a corruption free environment and that the authority should live up to the expectations of the poor. He also urged UUDA to introduce a single window system for House construction licenses.

Chairperson of KSDL Veronica Cornelio, president of Udupi city municipality Meenakshi Madhava, senior Congress leader Sarala Kanchan, president of Udupi Block Congress Sathish Ameen Padukere, Girish Kumar, Praveen Shetty, Sampath Kumar, Violet D’Souza and other members of UUDA were also present.
