Narendra Modi failed to bring ‘Acche Din’ in the country – Gopal Bhandary

Karkala: The Former Karkala MLA and KPCC Secretary Gopal Bhandary alleged that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s NDA government has failed on all fronts. He has failed to control the price rise in the country.

He was addressing the gathering at a protest organised by the Karkala Block Congress at the Karkala Bustand on Monday, January 29. He said that “Narendra Modi had assured before the Lok Sabha polls that he will bring ‘Acche Din’ in the country. It is unfortunate that even after completing three years as Prime Minister, Modi has failed to fulfill the pre-poll promises. The BJP has fooled the public to get votes.

The union government has hiked the prices of essential commodities. The middle class has been affected the most due to the move, and the people are feeling cheated. The union government is not taking any action to control the price of essential commodities. Everything is getting expensive. The BJP’s slogan, “Acche din ane wale hain”, was just an eyewash,” he added.

In Karkala Taluk local BJP MLA Sunil Kumar has been continuously lying about the Tiger Project. The Union government is planning to implement the Tiger Project in Karkala Constituency but Udupi-Chikkamagaluru MP Shobha Karandlaje and MLA Sunil Kumar are not ready to speak openly about the project. Sunil Kumar Should stop lying to the people giving such statements.

Chief minister Siddaramaiah has provided Indira Canteen to the Karkala Constituency but MLA Sunil Kumar is putting pressure to transfer the project to Bandimatt Bus-stand. The district administration should implement the Indira Canteen project in the Karkala City Limits, he demanded.

Congress leaders Amrith Shenoy, Muniyalu Uday Shetty, Shekar Madiwala, Neere Krishna Shetty, Sudhakar Kotian, Ravishanker Sherigar, Deepak Kotian, Mohammed Aslam, Subhith Kumar, Winnibold Mendonca, Prathima Mohan, Vignesh Kini and others were present.
