New Inmate Attacked in Hiriyadka District Jail
Udupi: A new inmate was assaulted by under trial prisoners at the district jail at Anjar village near Hiriyadka on November 27.
According to the Hiriyadka Police Irshad Moideen was brought to the district jail on November 26. On November 27 between 9 to 10 am while Irshad was going for breakfast, under trial inmates Sudeep Shetty, Akhilesh Shetty, Sukumar, Manjesh, Prashanth Mogaveera and Prathik assaulted Irshad and threatened him with life.
In this regard, a case has been registered in the Hiriyadka Police Station.
