London, May 23 (IANS) American singer Kimberly Wyatt feels women are under too much pressure to lose weight after giving birth.
The former Pussycat Dolls singer welcomed her daughter Willow in December 2014.
Drawing on her own experience, she said: “You have to exercise when you are ready and your body will tell when you are ready.”
“I had to have an unplanned caesarean, which meant that my tummy muscles were severed during the birth. Getting back into shape after Willow was born is something that didn’t happen quickly, I couldn’t exercise for six weeks afterwards… Once I had the all clear from my doctor, I started to do gentle exercise,” femalefirst.co.uk quoted her as saying.
