NIA Team in City to Exchange Information – Chandra Sekhar
Mangaluru: “In our city, since there has been communal violence and other crimes, a team of the National Investigation Agency is in the city to share information”, said the Police commissioner Chandra Sekhar during an interaction with the journalists, at his chamber here on April 3.
Answering the queries of the journalists, Chandra Sekhar said that we are sharing information with each other on issues of interest, it is just an exchange of information, he said.
When asked about the arrest of 5 persons in an attempt to murder case of Prakash Poojary, Chandra Sekhar said, “We have already arrested 5 persons and there is information about Khader Kulai’s involvement. During the investigations, we will decide whether we need to take Khader Kulai into custody. We need to investigate further in this case. There is no connection about NIA team visit to Mangaluru and Prakash Poojary attempt to murder case. NIA and Prakash Poojary case are two different issues”, he clarified.
