London, Aug 11 (IANS) Singer Nicole Scherzinger is not dating Ed Sheeran, her representative has confirmed.
The Sun newspaper previously reported that the duo have been secretly seeing each other since the past few months. However, Scherzinger’s spokesperson set the record straight on the rumours by telling the newspaper that there has been nothing romantic between the two singers, reports aceshowbiz.com.
A representative for Sheeran too had earlier denied the rumours.
Both Scherzinger and Sheeran were said to be keeping their relationship platonic. The two are only close friends to each other, though they were often seen hanging out together or even making sweet gestures to each other.
Earlier this year, news broke that Scherzinger broke up with Lewis Hamilton whom she dated on-and-off since 2007.
She reportedly dumped Hamilton because he refused to get married and start a family. Though both of them never addressed their breakup report, the Formula One racing driver once said that he felt “pressured” by the family members who encouraged them to get married.
