Nikhil won’t enter politics says Kumaraswamy

“By no means will Nikhil enter politics,” said Karnataka State JD(S) President H D Kumaraswamy.

Nikhil Kumaraswamy is Kumaraswamy’s son and the grandson of former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda.

Speaking to reporters after his birthday celebrations, Kumaraswamy categorically denied rumours that his son Nikhil would enter politics.

“Nikhil will however, participate in the party’s poll campaign,” Kumaraswamy said.

Kumaraswamy’s clarification puts to rest all conjectures that the former Chief Minister’s son would foray into politics during the 2018 polls.
