Ninety Persons Test Positive For Coronavirus in DK
Mangaluru: According to the district health bulletin, ninety persons have tested positive for the Coronavirus in Dakshina Kannada district on July 2.
Out of the ninety positive cases, fifteen persons had returned from Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Dubai.
Thirty-one persons had contracted the disease from patient number 11386, 9588, 14351, 12375, 14351, 10588, 12382, 12399, and 13295, respectively.
Nineteen persons are suffering from influenza-like illness (ILI), and eight persons are suffering from Severe Acute Respiratory Infection. The health officials are tracing the contacts of seventeen others.
All the ninety persons have been shifted to the designated COVID hospital for further treatment.
Meanwhile, seventeen persons were also discharged from the hospital after complete recovery.
