‘Nirmillem Nirmonem’ Receives Thunderous Response During Premier Release in Dubai
Dubai: The super-hit Konkani movie ‘Nirmillem Nirmonem’ had a premier release in Dubai on Friday the 14th of February, 2020 at 1.30 pm in Novo Cinemas, Ibn Batuta Mall, Dubai on the occasion of Valentine’s Day and received a thunderous response from all Konkani Movie Lovers. It was a jam-packed full house audience who flocked into the theatre much in advance booking their tickets and were enthusiastically waiting for the movie to start. Once the movie is over no one wanted to return but were busy expressing their views which was captured in the video shared in social media. The tag line is that cent percent of the audience liked the movie in all aspects and had an unexpected storyline including the concluding part. Of course, the lyrics, music, songs and the comedy part were highlighted with the audience review on the spot.
Shodhan Prasad of Sandhya Creations welcomed the audience and introduced his Team comprising of Cynthia Goveas, Alwyn Pinto, Gloria D’Souza, Kevin Vas, Royden Roche, Francis, Edwin and Sameer Bolar. He then announced the names of guests who were supposed to attend and invited Guests entrepreneur Joseph Mathias of Merit Freight, Entrepreneurs Michael D’Souza, Producer of ‘Nirmillem Nirmonem’ Henry D’Silva, Lavina Fernandes on behalf of Globelink West Star Shipping, Actors Prathap Menezes & Socia Pinto and the Team members. Cynthia Goveas handed over the rose flowers to all the guests and stars as a gesture of welcome.
On behalf of the Guest, Michael D’Souza & Joseph Mathias spoke well requesting all Konkani community people to come forward and support such events while Henry D’Silva on behalf of the Production Team thanked everyone for being part of the movie. He then briefed on the making of the movie and mentioned names of those who have supported in the making.
The Lead Actor Prathap Menezes thanked all the audience for supporting ‘Nirmillem Nirmonem’ and said that this support needs to be there whenever any Konkani Movie gets released across here in this part of the world. He expressed his happiness of being part of this industry and looking forward to any opportunity in the near future especially in Konkani Movie Industry. He was the main man who initiated the premier release of the movie in Dubai.
‘Nirmillem Nirmonem’ Produced by Henry D’Silva Surathkal is being directed by Melwin Elpel. The co-direction and screenplay has been written by Norbert John.
Actors Prathap Menezes, Seema Buthello, Hera Pinto, Godwin, Vinny Fernandes, Rony Surathkal, Meenakshi Martin, Hambert Goa, Helen Noronha, Charles Gomes, Socia Pinto and other famous personalities of the region are among the vibrant cast. Santhosh, Milan Markanja, Jerald & Rayan are the assistant directors of the film. Manjunath handled the cinematography & Nandu Jabez in Background scores. The heart touching songs were penned by the late Konkan Kogul Wilfy Rebimbus. R. Pappan – Joswin duo has composed beautiful music. Poet Wilson Kateel also has penned a beautiful lyrics for the movie.
The film is based on a unique story that deals with the obstacles and anxieties faced by a person looking for love.
