Nischitha Shenoy is ‘Mrs India Gourmet Queen’ & ‘Mrs India Fitness Queen’

Kudla Origin Nischitha Shenoy ‘Mrs India Gourmet Queen 2017’ & ‘Mrs India Fitness Queen 2017’

Mangaluru: At the grand finale of “Mrs India 2017” that took place in Chennai on July 3rd and 4th 2017 at the Feathers Hotel, Kudla origin Nischitha Shenoy, who was adjudged as “Mrs India south 2017” in May 2017, has now won the title as “‘Mrs India Gourmet Queen 2017’; and ‘Mrs India Fitness Queen 2017’. Her hard work, determination, and commitment have proven success in bagging these two titles, even though she tried hard to win the “Mrs India 2017” title. Nischitha Shenoy has always been an achiever, a dreamer and believes that there is nothing hard work can’t help you achieve. Being a technology consulting professional, a licensed Zumba fitness instructor and a mother to a 17 month old baby girl, Nischitha is a go-getter and an achiever- her recent success in the pageant is the proof.

Nischitha’s simple and modest demeanor translated into the sense of fashion which she appreciates herself. Ever since she won few fashion/modelling related titles, she has found that her sense of style has become more expressive of who she is. She is fun loving, spontaneous and impromptu on stage. Mirror..Mirror on the Wall. Nischitha is the prettiest among all! Fringe or no fringe, for this pretty Mangalorean, love is the purest emotion that can’t be expressed in words. Nischitha is a female with a lot of gusto and a resplendent personality. Nischitha who had outclassed the rest of the contestants to be the “Mrs India south 2017” recently, is overwhelmed to win couple of this titles at the “Mrs India 2017” pageant.

Speaking to Team Mangalorean over the phone from Bengaluru, Nischitha Shenoy narrated about her recent experience at the “Mrs India 2017” pageant- “No losses, only wins and learning!” I live by this. But, when one actually doesn’t win at something they worked extremely hard and made several sacrifices for, it is momentarily disheartening. Practicing what you preach is easily said rather than done. Nobody teaches you what to feel and how to cope when you do not win. But, the entire experience of ‘Mrs India’ and the journey with other contestants, support from my dearest of friends and family and my husband has taught me that, i need to continue believing in myself and keep forging ahead.”

“The grand finale of “Mrs India 2017″ was glittering, glamorous and simply awesome. We had photo shoots, a personal interview round and rehearsals for our finale show on the eve of July 4th. During the finale I proudly represented Yakshagaana from Mangaluru in the traditional national costume round which was very well received. Enjoyed walking the ramp with an evening gown. We walked to live music in traditional 9 yard sarees from the Brand Nalli, to a soulful violin played by Karnataka’s very own bright and talented, wireless walking violinist Aneesh Vidyashankar. I was among the top 24 finalists that faced off to win the titles. I will forever cherish these two days as I made new friends, reminisced with the old ones from Mrs India South 2017 and more than anything else, discovered that things always don’t go as planned, yet they have a way to turn out to be better.”

“I couldn’t garner a title, but I am extremely proud that I was awarded two sub titles namely, “Mrs India Gourmet Queen 2017” for a dish that I had prepared. One of my favorite dishes as a kid from Mangaluru “Banana buns” but with a twist. The other sub title being “Mrs India Fitness Queen 2017″ for excellence in the field of fitness. The fitness queen title means the world to me, reason being, over the past few years I have taken to fitness as a lifestyle and being acknowledged for that, reinstates the confidence that I did make a difference, enough to be noticed among 45 other contestants from all over India and abroad.”

She concluded saying, ” Cannot thank my family and friends enough for their love and support. I named it and they did it for me. I hope I made them proud. My heartiest congratulations to the winners and runner ups, especially to Tripti Rao from Bengaluru. Looking ahead with bright dreamy eyes. Excited that there are and there might be more opportunities to explore my creative side. One thing I know for sure is that I will never stop fanning the fire within. Thank you Mangalorean.com and all my fans and supporters for your continued support. Means a lot to me”
