‘I have no Connection with House Burglar Vijwal Poojary’ – Manoj Kodikere
Mangaluru: “I have no connection with the house burglar Vijwal Poojary. Recently when Vijwal Poojary and two other house burglars were arrested by the CCB police, it was mentioned that the accused Vijwal was my aide which is a false allegation”, said the Jokatte resident Manoj Kodikere in a press meet held at the Press club here on November 4.
Addressing the mediaperson Manoj Kodikere said, “Earlier eight cases have been registered against me of which two cases are under investigation and rest of the cases have been dismissed. I do not know Vijwal Poojary but the police have accused that Vijwal was my aide which has hurt me a lot.”
Manoj Kodikere further said, “I was the member of Hindu organization and the founder president of Manjanna Seva Brigade. Some of my opponents and politically influenced persons have got together and along with the police are spoiling my name. I have decided to file a complaint with the police commissioner since this incident has invited threats to my life for which I need protection.”
Manoj’s mother Bhavani, Sister-in-law Sangeetha and sister Shashikala were also present.
