No Lockdown in Dakshina Kannada from July 23 – Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary
Mangaluru: “Since the coronavirus positive cases had rapidly increased in the district a week-long lockdown was announced to contain the spread of the virus. On July 21, chief minister B S Yediyurappa announced that the lifting of the lockdown in the state from July 23”, said the District Minister In-charge Kota Srinivas Poojary, on July 21.
Kota Srinivas Poojary further said, “In Dakshina Kannada District the lockdown will end on July 22 night. The official announcement of lifting the lockdown will be made by the Deputy Commissioner”.
