No Pankti Bheda in Sri Krishna Math : H Anjaneya
Udupi: There is no Pankti Bheda in Sri Krishna Math and no Swamijis of the eight maths are influencing Pankti Bheda said Minister for Social Welfare H Anjaneya. He was speaking to media persons during his visit to Sri Krishna Math here on January 1.
Swamijis do not have any part in safeguarding the interests of the people. They should not involve themselves in discrimination. Udupi Sri Krishna math is catering to the devotional needs of the people and they are not involved in any type of discrimination. The Pejawar Swamiji is working for the marginalized and deprived. He has been raising his voice against untouchability he added.
The central government has not released any grant to the development and welfare of tribals, the state government is planning to allocate fund for the same.
The welfare of the Koraga community will be effectively undertaken, they will be distributed with land records and funds for housing, education and healthcare. A grant of rupees 1 crore has been released for the health needs of the Koraga community.
The minister was accompanied by the District minister in-charge Pramod Madhwaraj, Rajya Sabha member Oscar Fernandes, State minority development corporation chairman M A Gafoor, Dinesh Putran, Raju Poojary and others.
Earlier the minister visited Sri Krishna Temple and offered Puja. Later he along with other leaders had food in the Saha a Pankti Bhojana with other devotees.
