No Restrictions on Private Doctors – CM Siddaramaiah

Udupi: “The the Government Koosamma Shambhu Shetty Haji Abdulla Memorial Maternity and Children’s Hospital is constructed in Udupi to provide quality health service to the poor. The hospital has been constructed under the PPP model with Dr B R Shetty. We will not put any restrictions on private doctors. The hospital will not be handed over to private parties, it will remain with the government but the hospital will be managed by Dr B R Shetty”, clarified CM Siddaramaiah to the journalists in Udupi.
CM Siddaramaiah is in Udupi to attend the inauguration of the Government Koosamma Shambhu Shetty Haji Abdulla Memorial Maternity and Children’s Hospital on November 19.
When asked whether he will visit the Sri Krishna Math, CM Siddaramaiah said, “This time I will not go to Sri Krishna Math, but I am not against the Math. I have no enmity with Pejawar Swamiji. I have good relationship with Six crore people of the state including Pejawar Swamiji. It is not necessary to answer all the questions the BJP asks, people are watching them.”
When asked about the recent protest by the Doctors, CM Siddaramaiah said, “In the protest, the government nor the private doctors have won but the poor patients will get justice.”
