No Stones Pelted at my Car, Anti Rowdyism, Anti Drug squad to be formed – U T Khader

Mangaluru: The BJP Minority Morcha Mangaluru Constituency staged a protest against the brutal murder of Zubair at Thokkottu Junction here on October 6.

Protesters shouted slogans and demanded the arrest of those who had brutally murdered Zubair on October 4, while he was returning from the Mosque after prayers.

MP Nalin Kumar Kateel visited Zubair’s house and met the family members. MP Nalin said, “Because of the Ganja and drugs freely available, crimes in Ullal area have increased. The state government is not taking any initiative to curb the drug menace. In the state, there are continuous attacks and many innocents have lost their lives. Zubair’s killers should be arrested within a week.”

MP Nalin further said, “The government should provide Rs 40 lakh compensation to Zubair’s family. I will also appeal to the central government in this regard.”

There were rumours that the protesters pelted stones at Minister U T Khader’s car and did not allow him to visit Zubair’s house.

When Mangalorean.com contacted Minister U T Khader on phone, he said, “When I was on the way to Zubair’s house at Mukkacheri, there was a roadblock because of the protest staged by DYFI at Mukkacheri and the BJP in Deralakatte. So I thought of walking to Zubair’s house. While I was walking towards Zubair’s house some protesters started to scream. When they were screaming residents of Mukkacheri gathered at the place. In order to let the situation cool down, I decided to return from there. Rumours of stones being pelted at my car are false.”

Khader also said, “We are forming a special squad to curb Rowdyism and drug peddling in three station limits. The squad will be headed by ACP’s. Some people are politicizing the murder of Zubair. Instead of politicizing let them give information to the police of drug peddlers or rowdies. Various organizations, Religious leaders and the public should co-operate with the police to curb rowdyism and drug peddling.”

The media, stenographers, fake-rationalists and pseudo-secular brigade would have been outraged if BJP was in power. Now that Congress is the ruling party, nobody is saying a word. The murder of RSS/BJP workers is spinning out of control in Kerala. The same culture is seen in Mangaluru area.
