North PS Top Cop Shantharam Kundar Promoted as CCB Inspector
Mangaluru: The Bunder Police Station Inspector Shantharam Kundar has been promoted as CCB Inspector on December 14.
Shantharam Kundar hails from Karinja in Bantwal taluk, he is an officer of the 2003 batch. Beginning as a probationary sub-inspector in Madikeri, later on, Shantharam served in Devaraj station in Mysuru, Alagur in Mandya, Madikeri Rural, Kodagu district intelligence and Tavarekere in Tumakuru district.
After being promoted to inspector, he served in the MESCOM vigilance, Kudremukh and Mudigere police stations. During his tenure as Police Inspector, he was able to put a break on Ganja peddling and Trafficking. He has raided many Massage Parlours, gambling and prostitution centres and arrested many criminals.
For his commitment to service and dedication towards his work, the then Police commissioner Chandra Sekhar had recommended Shantharam’s name for the Chief Minister’s Gold medal. Shantharam Kundar is popularly known as “Kudlada Singham received the Chief Minister’s Gold medal in 2016 “.
In his two-and-half years of tenure as an Inspector, he has made the Bunder police station people friendly by helping the victims get justice. Shantharam Kundar is a very able, bold, determined and transparent police officer.
