Nrityaantaranga 56 by Kum Dhanyashree Prabhu
Puttur: Nrityaantaranga is a series of classical events hosted by Shree Mookambika Cultural Academy(R.) of Puttur. Recently on Aug 25th evening, the 56th serial of Nrityaantaranga was presented by Kum Dhanyashree Prabhu, the disciple of Vidwan Deepak Kumar, Puttur in ‘Shashi-Shankara Sabhangana’ in Puttur. The evening was inaugurated by lighting lamp by Ramananda Bhat, Lecturer of S.V.S. College, Bantwal.
The invited guest talked about various aspects relating to Natya, Nritya in Old Sanskrit scriptures and congratulated the artiste and the accompanists. Dhanyashree performed for more than 80 minutes with the support of her guru Vidwan Deepak Kumar on the Nattuvanga, Vidushi Preethikala on the Vocal, Geethesh Neeleshwara on the Mridangam and Abhishek on the Flute.
Smt. Nishitha Iche welcomed the gathering, Kum Vidhathri sung the prayer, Kum Sharanya gave a talk on Padmakosha Hastha and its usages and Kum Anusha Jain introduced the artiste-Dhanyashree while Kum. Ganavi introduced the guest to the audience
