NSUI Udupi District Unit Pays Tribute to Ambedkar on Death Anniversary

Udupi: The National Student’s Union of India Udupi district Unit organized 63rd Death anniversary of BR Ambedkar, architect of the Indian Constitution on December 6 at Ambedkar Bhavan, Indrali.

The dignitaries included AICC member Amrith Shenoy, District Congress Vice President Pakyath Shetty, Former Vice President City Municipal Council Kushal Shetty, Raghavendra Naik and Sathish Manchi paid floral tribute to the portrait of Ambedkar.

Addressing the gathering Kushal Shetty in his introductory speech said that Ambedkar had formed the constitution for all the people, irrespective of caste, creed or religion. He asked the NSUI members to organize more of such programmes and said that he too was a Product of NSUI and recalled his days as an NSUI activist.

AICC member Amrith Shenoy in his message said that the Indian Constitution is the best constitution in the world and added it is the most flexible and justified constitution in the world.

District Congress vice president Prakyath Shetty in his address shared the achievements and contribution of Ambedkar in nation building.

District NSUI president Christan Almeida welcomed the guests and also delivered the vote of thanks. Vishak Shetty Compered the programme.
