Number of Keralites visiting Karnataka, keep an eye on them- Shobha Karandlaje
Chikkamagaluru: Udupi-Chikkamagaluru MP Shobha Karandlaje once again raised controversy by demanding an investigation about the increasing number of Keralites visiting Karnataka. According to the MP, investigations must be initiated regarding why so much Keralites are coming to the state.
Speaking at a function, the Shobha said that there has been a tremendous increase in the number of Keralites visiting the state. “These people are not just coming for tour programmes. A thorough investigation must be done as to why their number has increased suddenly,” she said.
The MP even went on to say that several people from Kerala were active participants in the violent protest against the CAA in Mangaluru

If we take Mangalore as an example, it is not the same city which we saw when we were growing up as children in late 70s and early 80s.
The entire city has been taken over by migrants from Kerala, and in some places, it looks like mini Kerala/Mallapuram, and due to this has nudged the local population away from affordable housing etc.
