Numbers to Call on Information on Ramadan Moon-sighting
Udupi: The holy month of Ramadan for Muslims is expected to begin on Monday, June 6, if the moon is sighted on Sunday, June 5.
Uncertainty prevails in the coastal districts because of cloudy outlook and chances of rain.
Nevertheless, Haji M A Bavu Muloor, general secretary of the Udupi district Samyukta Jama’at, has informed that Shaikhuna P M Ibrahim Musliyar Bekal Ustad, the district qazi, will be available in the central Juma mosque in Muloor from 5 pm on June 5.
