IT officials raid Bagabettu co-op. Society
Udupi: The Income Tax department officials conducted a raid on districts leading Badagabettu Credit Cooperative Society Limited on February 1.
Sources said that a team of more than 16 officials from Bengaluru, began the raid at morning and are verifying the accounts. The officials also raid the house manger of the Society.
They asked the bank to stop transactions to conduct the investigation by examining the computer system. The inspection is expected to continue till late evening. Details of the raids are not yet known.
