Addressing the gathering Parish priest if Puttur Church Fr Wilfred said, “When late Dennis D’Souza was the headmaster he used to train the Fifth standard students in music. Today we are seeing the result of Dennis D’Souza’s efforts. The students who were trained by him have dedicated this evening to their mentor late Dennis D’Souza. I have understood that if we train the students from the fifth standard in music, they will achieve everything when they grow. Whatever Dennis had sown, we are now reaping. The old students who were trained by him used to take part in inter-parish singing competitions and bringing laurels for the Puttur parish. Later singers of others parishes used to predict and say, if Puttur parishioners participate in the singing competitions they will take the prizes.”

Fr Wilfred wished everyone a very happy Christmas and a prosperous New year 2017. He congratulated the organizers for dedicating the musical nite “Mestri Tuja Manak” to their mentor.
