One Dead and Two injured in Landslide at Kudupu
Mangaluru: In a tragic incident one person died and two others were injured in a landslide near the construction site of Tejaswini Nursing College, Kudupu here on November 13.
The deceased has been identified as Shyam (46), from Moodushedde. The injured are Ramesh and Renuka from Linganusur.
According to the police, there was a landslide on November 13 at the construction site of Tejaswini Nursing College in Kudupu and three labourers were injured.
The injured were rushed to the Tejaswini hospital but Shyam succumbed to injuries. Ramesh and Renuka are admitted to the hospital and are undergoing treatment.
A complaint has been filed in the Mangaluru Rural police station. Based on the complaint filed by the injured Rames, the police have booked the contractor Chandan Das and supervisor Praveen under section 337, 338, 304 (A) and 34 IPC.
