Udupi: One person was killed and four others were injured in a head-on collision between a car and KSRTC bus near Kondadi Hiryadka here, on April 2.
The deceased has been identified as Suresh Bhat (31) a resident of Nere Bailoor, Karkala Taluk.
According to primary reports, Suresh Bhat and his wife were headed towards Karkala from Udupi when a KSRTC Bus plying from Udupi to Dharmastala rammed into the Ford Figo car driven by Suresh. The bus later collided with another Nissan demo car. Suresh being seriously injured died on the spot. Four other passengers in the car sustained serious injuries and have been shifted to a private hospital.
Hiriyadka Police rushed to the Spot.
