One Dies, Several Injured in Bus-Container Truck Collision at Nanthur Junction
Mangaluru: One died and several passengers were injured in a Bus-Container Truck collision at Nanthur Junction here on December 7.
The deceased has been identified as Kavitha (50), from Gurpur.
According to the police, the PTC city bus was plying from Bikkarnakatte towards Hampankatta. At Nanthur Junction a Container Truck from Gujarat plying towards Pumpwell from Panambur collided into the bus.
In the incident, the Container driver and the passengers on the bus have been injured. A priest who was passing on his car was also injured.
Traffic Police from Kadri station have registered a case and are investigating.
