One Killed, five Injured in Swift – Alto car collision
Kundapur: A 36-year-old person was killed and five others including two children were seriously injured in a collision involving a swift car and an Alto Car on NH 66 near Apoorva Hotel, Maravanthe here on Monday, May 1.
The deceased has been identified as Dhanapandyan (36), a resideint of MG road Bengaluru.
According to the police, when Dhanapandyan along with his family were returning to Bengaluru from Bydnoor on their Alto car, a Swift car coming in the opposite direction collided into their car. Dhanapandyan who was driving the Alto car died on the spot. Two women, a man and two children were injured in the accident and have been shifted to a Private Hospital in Manipal.
A case has been registered in the Gangolli Police Station.
