Online Roulette for Real Money Odds
Online roulette is a casino table game. The main elements of the roulette are a roulette wheel and the ball. A dealer will drop the ball in the spinning wheel and it will land in a pocket. This determines the outcome. All Roulette games have the same layout, but with some differences. For instance, European Roulette has one slot with 0 while American Roulette has 0 and 00 slots. Below you can see the odds for the bets in this game.
Outside bets
Outside bets are generally more popular in online Roulette as stated by roulette gambling source. These bets have lower payouts but they have higher odds for winning. Most of them are even money bets, meaning they have 50-50 odds. The only exception is the 0 and 00 (in American Roulette only). Even money bets include are even or odd, 19-36, 1-18, and famous red or black. All of the above have odds for winning of 48.65%. This applies only to the European Roulette. In American Roulette, even money bets have odds of 47.37%. The payout for all of them is 1:1 because they have a high probability.
Column and dozen bets are also part of outside bets but they are not an even-money bet type. Here you can bet on a set of 12 numbers. These include 3 columns you can choose and each one has the mentioned possibilities. They cover almost 1/3 of the probability. Here we can add that American Roulette generally has lower odds due to the presence of 00 pocket. Most professional gamblers prefer the European version simply because it has one pocket with the 0 number.
