Only Congress party can give Political Power to Backward Communities – Pramod Madhwaraj
Udupi: “The Congress is the only party that has made all efforts for the upliftment of the backward communities in the state”, said the District Minister in-charge Pramod Madhwaraj.
He was speaking after participating in the Udupi district Congress backward community convention at Narayana Guru Auditorium Bannanje here on March 11.
The Backward communities are the assets of the Country and the Congress party has given them political power in the country. In other political parties, people of the backward communities cannot become the chief minister but the Congress party has given many chances to the backward communities even to become the Chief Minister in Karnataka.
The Siddaramaiah led State government has made all efforts for the upliftment of the Backward communities by implementing various special schemes for their economic and social development. In the last 5 years of its tenure, the state government has released maximum grant to the backward communities. The government has taken all measures to build backward community halls across the state, he added.
