Opposition unable to Digest J R Lobo’s Popularity has indulged in Black Magic – Mahabala Marla
Mangaluru: “The MLA of Mangaluru South Constituency J R Lobo has become popular because of the development work he has carried out in his constituency. From the last 5 years, Lobo has strived hard for the development of Mangaluru city. The opposition unable to digest his popularity and afraid of losing the forthcoming assembly elections has indulged in black magic. The opposition with the help of a Black Magician from Kerala has indulged in black magic which the Congress strongly condemns”, said the former Mayor and spokesperson of Congress Mahabala Marla in a press meet held at the Congress South Election Office Kadri here on May 5.
Addressing the mediapersons Mahabala said, “Those who had indulged in black magic had written J R Lobo’s name on a piece of paper and placed it along with nails tied with red thread and buried it in the crematorium at Nandigudda. As soon as we got the news Prof Nagendra Nayak also reached the spot and took it out. We immediately informed the police and the Corporator of Nandigudda ward Shailaja who later filed a complaint with the police as well as the election commission. By playing this dirty game the opposition has proved that they don’t believe in the constitution or God.”
Mahabala Marla further said, “J R Lobo has provided funds for the development of crematoriums in the city, he has also visited all the Temples and offered prayers thus proving that he is a secular leader. The leaders from Hindu community have met J R Lobo and said that those who indulge in black magic will be punished by God. Lobo has visited various temples including the Polali Rajarajeshwari Temple, Mangaladevi Temple, Kadri Manjunatheshwara Temple, Venkataramana Temple, Urva Marigudi etc and offered prayers. Those who are trying to spoil the image of J R Lobo and causing harm, damaging his reputation let God bless them. We are sure that Lobo is a strong candidate of the Mangaluru South Constituency and that is why the opposition is indulging activities.”
