Mangaluru: Goodbye 2019! Welcome 2020! Off course New Year is a time for celebration. It is indeed an occasion to ring out the old and ring in the new with friends and dear ones. New Year party with its entire sheen and excitement is the perfect occasion for a fresh start whilst making the New Year Eve an ideal representation of color, fervor, zest and enthusiasm. And for that matter, Revelers toasted to the joy of a new year at the glamorous, glittering and extravaganza “New Year’s Eve Party” at Hotel Taj Gateway, Old Port Road/Bunder, Mangaluru and added a little sparkle to the last night of the year of 2019. Revelers enjoyed a spectacular night with Dj Nik, who belted out some top Bollywood, Western, EDM, techno, Baila-Konkani and Tulu- and off course with free-flowing drinks and food.
The crowd predominantly of entrepreneurs, doctors, engineers, young and old envisioned a grand, limited capacity affair that catered to the likes of the entire family and friends. Everyone was set to ring in the New Year 2020 as the energetic Taj crew amped up the celebrations with reverberating music, entertainment, dancing strobe lights, and for once, everyone escaped into an night that they will remember for all eternity. The luxury and finesse of this legendary New Year Eve party did engulf revelers world.
It was indeed a very special night to ring in the new year and make it memorable. Revelers danced to the amazing Bollywood, rock-n-roll, pop and EDM music played by the Dj Nik, who along with talented and master compere Jason D’Souza, who had come down all the way from Kuwait kept the crowd rocking and partying all night long- and until midnight, since our beloved local cops had set the curfew to end the party at the dot of midnight!. Many lifted up their arms up high as the Dj Nik belted out some popular hits that made the party people to feel the power of the music. There were party games, spot prizes and lots of entertainment as the emcee also kept the audience in full mood and join in the celebrations. The party was fueled by unlimited cocktails and cocktails, a lavish buffet and unlimited delicious starters prepared by in-house chefs.
The guests savored on the lavish buffet comprising of a array of mouth-watering cuisine, comprising of salads, soups, non-veg (Western and Indian) and veg , desserts etc The revelers got the best gifts -like free stays at Taj Group of Hotels nation and worldwide. Overwhelmed and beaming with joy at the good response of revelers who patronized the party, General Manager of Taj Gateway Peter Nirmal got on the stage and thanked everyone for their unstinted support towards Taj Gateway during 2019, and sought their encouragement and support during the forthcoming year 2020- and the crowd gave a rousing ovation when he concluded his heartfelt message. He also mentioned that the Taj Gateway will get an extreme makeover, starting 2 January 2020 during which major portion of the Hotel will be closed- but after which it will be rechristened as Taj Vivanta in 2021. While the overall arrangement was taken care by Shashi B-Security Manager, Sales Manager Ms Doreen Patrao, Food & Beverage Manager Noor Mohammed, Executive Chef Sinu Vijayan and their bevy of team did put up a great show, which received high compliments from the revelers.
Yes- Unlimited starters, Drinks, Cocktails, Gourmet food and a whole lot of fun- you name it. Beginning of a brand new year did call for lots of energy and gusto at this glittering and glamorous party. Revelers stamped these magic words on to 2020, at Taj Gateway’s biggest, hippest and happiest New year Eve bash which ushered in the best there can be. This party outwitted and enamored with the charm of variety of cocktails/mocktails/beer/wine etc to get the best out of party people on the Dance Floor. They all either survived the night or bled it all out – and many had one of the most exhilarating experiences of their life!
Off course, the year unleashed a million reasons to smile. The revelers did make the first reason to be at TAJ GATEWAY. They immersed themselves along with their loved ones to the scintillating Bollywood and Western music along with the flamboyant flow of Unlimited spirits and food. It was that time of the year again when the old goes away and new sets in! It was time to welcome the greatest year in the history of mankind yet! It was a time to celebrate the legacy of an icon! It was a time to live, love and dance! And the best part was that everyone celebrated responsibly in the name of peace, love and dance!
With all things glittering, the Taj Gateway organizers made a shining beginning to the brand new year 2020– they gave the revelers choice of their favorite music from idiom, easy, happy to Bollywood to shake a leg or two, with the best of DJ playing for the crowd.
