Party cadre should propagate government’s schemes to people – PC Vishnunadh
Udupi: The party cadre together with the party workers should propagate the schemes implemented by the government to the people said AICC Observer PC Vishnunadh. He was speaking during his visit to the District Congress Bhavan to take the opinion of party workers and leaders here on May 18.
The Chief Minister of Karnataka Siddaramaiah has effectively launched several schemes for the welfare of the people. The party cadre and party workers have collective responsibility in propagating the benefits of the schemes to the people.
The Congress should retain Karnataka in the 2018 assembly elections. The party high command has directed AICC and KPCC observes to discuss the issues and address the core concerns in the district congress committees. A report will be sent to the high command for appraisal. The party high command has directed the leaders to build the party at the grass root level, he added.
Minister in-charge District Pramod Madhwaraj, Former MLA Gopal Bhandary, KPCC Observers MC Venugopal, HM Revanna, Nanjappa, Rajanna, Former MLA Gopal Bhandary, Mahila Congress President Veronica Carnelio, Harish Kini and others were present.
PC Vishnunadh is the AICC observer for Mysore Revenue Region appointed by All India Congress Committee. He has served two terms in the Kerala Legilative Assembly, he was elected MLA from Chengannur Assembly constituency, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
