Pejavar Swamiji Shifted to Math from KMC Hospital
Udupi: Pejawar Math Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji has been shifted to Pejawar math from KMC Hosptial Manipal on Sunday, December 29 early morning.
The doctors of KMC hospital released the health bulletin of the Swamiji which stated that the condition of Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji is very critical and there is a further decline in his health condition. The Swamiji remains unconscious and continues to be on life support. Tests that have been done show severe brain disfunction.
As per the Swamiji’s wish, the Junior pontiff Vishwaprasanna Theertha Swamiji decided to shift the Swamiji from the hospital to the math on Sunday as per his wish and the treatment would continue there.
On Sunday morning after all the procedures the Swamiji was shifted to the Pejawar Math in a special Ambulance. The Swamiji’s Ambulance was accompanied by Udupi-Chikkamagaluru MP Shobha Karndlaje, Udupi MLA Raghupathi Bhat, Udupi SP Nisha James, Udupi Thasildar Pradeep Kurdekar and others
The 88-year-old Swamiji was hospitalised on December 20 after he developed breathing difficulty, has since been in the ICU. Doctors had earlier said that Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji was being treated for extensive pneumonia.
