VHP leader Prof M B Puranik urged the government that Hindu priests should be appointed at the Peeta. Datta Paduke should be kept at the Peeta and Puja should be offered to it on a daily basis. We will continue with our demand for declaring the place as belonging to the Hindus and for offering prayers thrice a day. Now, the matter is before the State government. It should respect the sentiments of the majority Hindus.

Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji of Paryaya Pejawar Math wished all success to the Abhiyan and urged the government to hand over the Datta Peeta to Hindus.
