Perampally Welfare Association – Kuwait celebrates Monthi Fest
Kuwait: Perampally Welfare Association – Kuwait celebrated “Monthi Fest” at Badur Travels Building, Salmiya on Friday, September 23, under the leadership of President Arun Dsouza and Committee members.
Large numbers of devotees had gathered to celebrate the “Monthi Fest”. Prayer to worship Mother Mary was led by Reshma D’souza. A group of children offered flowers, Youngsters and Adults offered various kinds of vegetables, while all who were gathered sang hymns ‘SakkadSangathaMellyan’ and ‘MoriyekHogolsian’ in honour of Mother Mary.
The program was compered by Edna D’souza who took charge of the entire proceedings with grace.
A warm welcome was addressed to the gathering by Arun D’souza. Brief Annual Report presented by Vice-president Sumit D’souza.
The cultural program began with Bollywood Remix Dance performed by Royce and Roslyn D’souza, melodies singing by Sanya Fernandes and Realene Fernandes which was supported by the instruments by Sean, Fredrick and Ronald.
Various Games, quiz, lucky draw and spot prizes for were conducted by Arun D’souza. Many parishioners sponsored for this event. Helen D’souza thanked the people for their contribution and continuous support towards Perampallians. Kombo (Live cock) draw and auction were special attractions of the event. A raffle draw was held and prizes were distributed.
Traditional food (NovemJevaan) was served during the occasion which was sponsored by PWA members. The programme concluded with baila dance.
