Petty Quarrel Results in Murder of Brother, Body Burnt in Forest
Kundapur: An argument over a petty issue between brothers took a violent turn and resulted in one brother being murdered. The ash of the burnt body was found at Golihole under the Byndoor Police Station limits. The incident occurred on April 26 but came to light on Saturday, April 28.
The deceased has been identified as Mutthayya (34) a resident of Golihole near Byndoor.
According to sources Mutthayya was working in at Hotel in Mumbai after his father’s death he returned to his native and turned alcoholic. He used to trouble his brothers and mother for Money.
On Thursday, Mutthayya asked money from his brothers. An argument ensued between the brothers resulting in the death of Mutthayya. Scared brothers took his body to the forest area and set it on fire. Burnt ash, Kerosine cans etc were found in the forest.
The Byndoor Police visited the spot. A case has been registered against Durga Marati, Raghavendra Marati and Annappa Marati in the Byndoor Police station and investigation is on.
