PFI and KFD Should be Banned – Sanjeev Matandoor
Mangaluru: “The PFI is involved in anti-social activities. In the DK district, KFD and PFI organisations had gheraoed the police commissioner’s office, police stations, DC’s office, assault on Police sub-inspector and is also involved in many other crimes. The people’s representatives and the District Minister In-charge are supporting them. The peace loving people of the district are living in fear because of such activities. People from other districts are afraid to come to DK “, said the District BJP president Sanjeev Matandoor in a press meet held at the BJP office here on April 6.
Addressing the mediapersons Sanjeev said, “PFI and KFD are involved in anti-social activities since many years. We have already requested the government to ban such organisations but the government did not take any measures in this regard. The District BJP is urging the state government to ban the PFI and KFD organisations”.
He further said, “In Udupi and Dakshina Kannada the sand mafia is rampant and Congress leaders are directly supporting them. In Dakshina Kannada, the DC is giving permission to the political leaders to extract sand. In Udupi, the DC is trying to curb the sand mafia for which she was assaulted. Communal violence and the sand mafia should be crushed. If not the BJP will stage a massive protest in the coming days”.
Former MLA Yogish Bhat, Vedavyas Kamath, Jithendra Kottari, Sanjay Prabhu and others were also present.
