Pilikula Zoo to Open for Public from August 16
Mangaluru: “Pilikula zoo will be kept open for the public from August 16. The visiting hours will be 10:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m. The Zoo will remain closed every Monday for visitors, to carry out maintenance work”, said the Director of Pilikula Biological Park H J Bhandary in a press statement here on August 14.
During the visit, visitors should strictly follow the guidelines issued by the District Administration to protect themselves from COVID-19. Wearing a mask is mandatory. Thermal scanning will be done at the entrance. Visitors should get their hands sanitized while entering the Zoo.
The Zoo authorities will provide the necessary sanitation facilities. Social distancing should be followed at all times at the entrance and inside the Zoo.
For the safety of the visitors, 76 CC cameras have been installed in the Zoo. Visitors are requested to co-operate with the authorities.
Tickets can be purchased at the box office near the entrance. Parking of vehicles is allowed in front of the Zoo entrance and in addition near the box office.
